Best Fishing Spots at Glover's Reef
Fly Fishing for bonefish is great at any time of day, even for novice fishers. Expansive reef flats around Isla Marisol are ideal for stalking the huge schools of permit, which exist in huge schools, though they are easily spooked and known which have the well-deserved reputation of being to be the most challenging fish to land at Glover’s Reef. Timing the tides correctly is the key to hooking permit. Barracuda on the fly is also a favorite but remember to use a braided leader or their sharp teeth might slice the leader.

Isla Marisol Resort offers full-day and half-day guided sport fishing and deep sea fishing trips suitable for all ages and abilities.
Due to the unique underwater topography of Glover’s Reef Atoll, serious anglers do not need to travel far to find their target fish. Try for snapper, grouper and tuna with live bait, lionfish and hogfish on spear, and marlin and sailfish with the right gear.
Trolling:
Troll outside the perimeter of the atoll for kingfish, wahoo, and barracuda, among others. Try for snapper, grouper and tuna with live bait, lionfish and hogfish on spear, and marlin and sailfish with the right gear. Trolling is typically best in the morning starting around 5am and in the afternoon starting around 4am.

Cancellation Policies:
*For cancellations 120 or more days prior to arrival date, a $100 fee per person will be deducted from your deposit and the remaining balance will be refunded.
*60-119 days prior to arrival date, a $200 fee per person will be deducted from your deposit and the remaining balance will be refunded.
*31-59 days prior to arrival a refund of 50% on package cost will be refunded.
*1-30 days prior to arrival date, no refund however you will receive a credit of 60% for future stay within a one year period based on availability.
Enriched Air or NITROX Option: Many divers opt for Enriched Air (EANx or NITROX). Isla Marisol Resort blends and tests Nitrox mixtures up to 36%. We also offer PADI Enriched Air Diver Certification. Nitrox package can be added to any SCUBA Diving package.
Gear Rental: Full gear rental package includes BCD, regulator, mask, fins, and wetsuit.
