Discover the reef from the surface
Glover’s Reef has shallow coral habitats that can be explored without a scuba certification. Guided boat outings from Isla Marisol visit nearby snorkeling areas, often two to ten minutes away. The resort describes many of these sites as roughly five to fifteen feet deep; the guide selects a route suited to the conditions.
Time to look closely
Float above coral gardens and watch the small details of reef life with an in-water guide. Morning and afternoon excursions leave time between outings for lunch and a rest on the island. Sea state, visibility and the group’s confidence influence which sites are visited and how long you spend in the water.
Special outings by arrangement
Ask about the dolphin and two-reef excursion or a night snorkeling experience if you want to expand your itinerary. Dolphins and other wildlife are wild animals: sightings are possible, never promised. Specialty outings are requests for staff review, not guaranteed inclusions in every stay.
Before you go
Tell us your swimming confidence, the ages of children and whether you need a mask, snorkel or fins. Review equipment hire and activity prices in your itemized trip summary before checkout. Bring sun protection, a rash guard and a reusable water bottle, and follow your guide’s instructions without standing on or touching coral.
